  • Apparently, Baylor changed their relationship with the law firm Pepper Hamilton that Baylor regents hired to conduct an independent investigation into all of the allegations. When the regents saw the severity of the findings, and it was perhaps worse than what was being reported, Baylor Regents hired the firm for legal counsel in an effort to invoke Attorney/Client privilege, to protect the findings from being turned over to the plaintiffs during the discovery process of the lawsuits, and made public.

      Ok I'm still at a loss and trying to understand why Baylor remains unscathed and the NCAA just laid down punishment on Rick Pitino and Louisville for sexual favors by players.

          • The NCAA has been gun shy ever since the SMU fiasco that resulted in them dropping the hammer the way they did. So now they are scared of doing it again when there have been plenty of incidents especially recent one where they should have dropped the hammer.
